Headshots seem easy…and they should be.

As a business owner, I know the importance of your image to your brand and the role of your image in the success of your business.

Hello!

My name is Maria, and I’m the owner and lead photographer at HeadshotNJ. I started HeadshotNJ because I’m passionate about helping people succeed in their businesses. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that the images I create help clients present themselves to their audience, fostering engagement and trust.

One of the highlights of my work is welcoming clients to my studio, located in a beautifully converted, 100-year-old factory that’s now home to a vibrant community of artists. Visitors are often surprised to find a fully equipped, professional photography studio in such a unique and historic setting.

While headshots are my specialty, my lens captures much more! I also photograph portraits—whether individual, family, couples, teens, high school seniors, engagements, or weddings. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m either writing, podcasting, or teaching others about photography (and doing my best to keep my plants alive!).

I love to travel both within the U.S. and abroad, whereI myself in the culture and energy of the people I meet along the way. When I have downtime, I indulge in my love for classic movies (Alfred Hitchcock is a favorite) and action, fantasy, or sci-fi adventures. Yes, I’m both a Trekkie and a Star Wars fan!
